SHADOW[/b] "Shadows In The Streets" (Elektra) - Produced by Leon Ware

any of their late 70's-early 80's things are worthwhile IMO. w/ or w/o leon's production.. just got their S/T the other day.

  • i got Brian Bennett/Alan Hawkshaw/John Fiddy - KPM 1177 - Hot Wax from my school today. nice! i thought i was just going to sell this one since it's from 1976 but really Side A is pretty nice. Just hanging around in the videostudio at school, i went into that room no one ever goes into, and there was like 15 green KPM records there just lying around, no one seemed to care so i stole Hot Wax. next week i am going to steal the rest of them and then i am going to ask the music teacher if they have anymore. (if you think i am wrong stealing those records no one cares about at school, please do not judge me because i am drunk and i have no sense of judgement and i can't remember if i was ashamed or something when i stole it. + i now do not give a knull cause i am a drunk teenager)

Wow, usually I'd sell a record if it was worth that much, but in this case- HELL NAW! This is some really great shit.

Guess I better wear my sanitized dj mits when spinning it tonight.

It's uber radd! Sounds like what I Imagine high school kid's in '79 would have chilled to in their basements while playing Dungeons & Dragons! Gothic Hippie Psych...

Pulled from one of the most immense piles of doo I have ever purchased. Tax refund going down the drain

A few decent Jazz cuts on there, and the break-laden Hey Jude, which is better than I expected.

Lotta little things also came outta the doo but this was the best so far, sigh.
