Waxing Deep is back for another Thursday. Today, our first hour special guest is DJ Sport Casual aka the one and only BigSpliff. For the second hour, expect an eclectic mix of the usual goodness, including some odd Brazilian selections, some over-rated fusion, and facemelting Argentine jazz. The thing is, if you head south in Argentina to the bottom of Patagonia, you really have to worry about facemelting thanks to a thin ozone layer. Still, the real Argentine raer is on top of Cerro Torre and, to a somewhat lesser extent, Cerro Fitzroy.

WHAT THE HELL IS BIGSPLIFF DOING IN nEW bRUNSwICK?
so, we just had a power outage in the studio and it was a first for me--all the lights started flashing and then everything went dead and i ended up on the floor beneath the board huddled in the fetal position. ok, maybe it didn't happen quite like that, but things are basic out here--no reliable power? wtf?
i've just been informed the shoutcast is back up....
I was in town filming an episode of my new cooking show (How to make Chicken)
