    We don't have custom licence plates in the UK so people spend huge amounts of money on old plates that roughly spell out their name or initials or something they're into .

    That shit is insane. I am now completely convinced the British will throw huge amounts of money at anything. I thought I had seen it all when I saw the northern soul collectors calling $100 45's "bargains," but spending the equivalent of $4,000 US so you can have "MC 444P" as your license plate?? Do you guys just print your own money at home??
