Was trying to pin down when it was exactly that it became not cool. In honor and memorium, whats your favourite? Lets try and keep it post Marley Marl.Babu w/ Dilated "Work the Angles"Honourable mention: Evil D w/ Smif n' Wessun "Timz N Hood Chek." Not technically the best, but raw, dirty and evocative.

    There's a ton I can think of, but the first one that jumps to mind is EPMD's "Rampage." Scratch absolutely murders that shit.

    Oh, also Freshco & Miz's "We Don't Play" where Miz cuts up Run-DMC.

    Primo got so many ill sentence cuts that are the hypest part of the song

    I'll go with Revolution on the Work The Angles remix (not the one with the same beat and Xzibit and everyone else--the one with the different beat that's 3rd on side A of that 12).

    True, true, but Primo really got me open with the scratching on "The Illest Brother." It's simple, but his pattern is so goddamn funky.

    Primo? on Lord Finesse "Stictly for the Ladies"

    Don't forget Primo on Finesse's "Baby, You Nasty." Again, real simple scratches, but his patterns are so dope.
