Decided to catch this instead of Compton last night (will tomorrow, though). Hollywood cashing in on 60s TV nostalgia treads on shaky ground, but I thoroughly enjoyed the style over substance jet set fun. And it wins points for me not only as an Italophile but for also kicking it off with "Compared To What". The other slightly anachronistic music picks on the soundtrack are used effectively. Anyone else? Fans of the original?

I went to the advanced screening two weeks ago. Wasn't expecting much and really was disappointed to find out that neither the original David McCallum or Robert Vaughn would be in it. The movie was good! Loved the retro soundtrack, split screens. Really well done spy thriller. Apparently Guy Ritchie got the memo that Sherlock Holmes sucked ass and put forth a much better effort. 8/10
