If it's clear and yella, you've got juice there, fella. If it's tangy and brown, you're in cider town!

Or you can leave it in your car for about a month then you got some prison vinegar.

Slice the apples up and saute them. Mash them up with a bit of honey, cinnamon, and a pinch of nutmeg and allspice.

Get some thick cut, bone-in pork chops, brine them, coat them in a bit of mayo, then apply mixture of crushed melba toast with salt and pepper and bake them on a wire rack.

applesauce is the easiest thing ever. wash and chop them, cutting minimally to remove core and tough bottom skin. you do NOT have to peel. just chop quickly into golf ball sized chunks. throw in a big stew pot with a 1/2 inch of water in the bottom. keep the lid on. they will cook down and sauce themselves. puree with an immersion blender or cook longer til you can just mash them easily by hand. peel becomes inconsequential. add what you want: dash of salt, cinnamon , etc

    so good when its hot
