Goddamn that sounds familiar...closest thing I can compare it to: It sounds like a cover of the break before Eddie Bo's Hook n Sling...

Not saying this is the one...but for example:

    Hey Jonny,

To me, the drums sound like a chopped up and reprogrammed version of "The Lifetime Monologue" by Lou Rawls.

Thanks for the correction, Volumen. It was one of those 'middle-aged' brain farts. :real_headz:

LOL. Figured it was spell check. I've sent some pretty ridiculous emails and txts not spell checking my spell check. The rest of the mistakes are my "middle aged brain farts"! I'll be using that one.

    Hey Volumen,

Man, I'm telling you, it can't juggle as much information upstairs since entering middle age. I used to able to pull up facts more quickly and manage massive amounts of information with little cognitive interference. Now, there are more 'slips of mind' and apologies (e.g., "I'm sorry, I forgot"). I guess that stuff I learned about the biological decrement model of mental processing with aging has some merit.

    Peace,

Hmmm not sure, its close... I had another break in my head that I can't remember which has 16th note hats and the same off-beat snare as in here, then the second time around the snare rolls... some shit off Drum Crazy (which were all chopped loops)
