I decided to start joining in on the finds threads. After all these years.
And well, these are actually October finds.

Mostly mid to late 70s top 10 soul hits.
Elvis = Rubberneckin = Breakbeat

Some more gooder ones from the same batch. Strangely the Ramones was in the mix.

C is for Cookie, Larry Levan remix. Night Owl Record Show finds.

Still can't resist this stuff.

Coltrane, first, mono, deep groove, RVG, ear

More NORS finds. When we started doing NORS all those years ago I thought I would be getting in on all the deals early. But no, there is way too much work involved and the 10 records in this and the other photo is all I got, which is more than most shows.

    Here's some finds from the past week or 2. Some thrift stores, house calls, a little of everything.

    The Donnie & Joe is sealed

    The Joe Tex is the mono version.

    To my surprise the Impressions LP still had the poster with it.

    Is that Young Holt joint the yellow label 1st pressing? If so, pretty decent find. I got $60 for one a few months ago.

    No it's the black label with distributed by Decca in the upper perimeter print. I do have some Yellow label Brunswick lps from the late 60's that are promo copies.

    East Texas on the come up.

  • scooped some nice 45s yesterday, but I was most excited by this find...something that took YEARS to cross my path in the field, many you are probably saying "I flip by that shit all the time", well, for some reason it had eluded me until now...what a great LP.

    not me, that shit is pretty freakin rare in my experience. I regret not gripping a clean copy for $25 at a local show a few years ago, haven't seen it in my travels since.

  • Hit a couple local spots for the first time, very reasonable prices.

    If you're into samples that Sandro record has a few dope loops.
