Welcome to the latest installment of the Happy Jazz Show sponsored by Gama Clothing .

Welcome one and all to the June edition of the Happy Jazz show. This month we are delving into the land of Jazz and AOR (Blue eyed soul) music. The first hour is packed with Jazz from Eastern Europe, Mexico, Australia, France, Argentina and Germany. A must listen is the fantastic Wolf Escher Quintet track "Nelson's Waltz" - an EP that was, so I am told, only given out at a certain art gallery. Superb modal jazz from the late 60's. Also included is the latest offering from French label Les Disques Superfrends which needs a listen! Big thanks to Franck Foubert for sending that through.

FORTHCOMING TROPICAL MUSIC MIX ON THE WONDERFUL SITE THAT IS SOUL BONANZA - thanks & much love to Hide & Genki for putting that up & for running a great site.

The second hour does not let up either as Mark will be featuring tracks from the forthcoming compilation on BBE records called "Americana" that both he and Zaf from Zafsmusic have compiled. If you are a regular listener to the show, you will have noticed a few choice cuts that come under the AOR / Blue eyed soul / yacht rock genre. The LP is also up on juno records and due for release shortly.

Mark also adds a little Brazilian sparkle to his hour and some modern beats for good measure.

Enjoy the month of June,

Many thanks - Adrian & Mark
