    This is one record I could never get a clean enough copy of to be satisfied with paying the going rate. Others I've talked to about it say theirs have hiss in the quiet passages too. Pressing defect-related?

    i don't think there's real hiss, but it is a very quiet pressing.

    It's not a poor pressing but it is really crappy wax - very thin and malleable. The slightest scuff will sound like a deep gouge. This has been true of every copy I've ever had. The dynamic range is pretty bad too.

    Really unfortunate too because it's got so many quiet, beautiful passages. I wouldn't be surprised if a sealed copy sounded poor.

    I've owned this record several times.
    Every copy I've owned the cover is always trashed but the vinyl was usually a grade of vg+ and played with no problems. But "Enterprise" had some rough record pressings.

    yo Bapt.. glad to hear you found one. The homie Renato had a copy of that record not too long ago, but it was real expensive.
