This was mentioned in the Shadow psych mix thread, so let's take a crack at it, shall we?     I really would love this jawn. This and the 2 other joints that have been pretty much elusive to me are the song that starts track 2 off ("Been so long, I can't see...") and the Usha Uthup song that's at 1:52 on track 5 ("I don't want no tears in the end...") That shit is CRAZY.

    I know most of the records on here. I supplied them with a few of my own for the mix (the Cynara, Danks, a few more.) The shit that Tony got from Spain is like the most far out shit on here IMO - I'll never find that shit.

    There was an actual thread on the old board.

    ALSO - gotta love the Dave Brown drop.

    Brainbox "Summertime"

    Love the mini-"Summertime" suite. The Brainbox track is the one w/ heavy organ and they let the vocals play a lil' bit, right?

    Talented - if no one else gets to it, I can help w/ the Merryweather mp3. Just gotta rip it. Thanks to djcoolhands for puttin' me on to this one. Great record.

    Easy one but the last cut on track 6 is Can "Mushroom".

    This first cut on Track 7 sounds like Demon Fuzz but it's not on "Afreaka".

    The last song on the mix is the instrumental of Purple Snow "Down by the River" that Pointman told me this weekend was released under a different artist name entirely.

    track 9 intro dharmatma soundtrack, followed by the association (forget the track name, maybe "bus song') followed by elephants memory mongoose. theres the walter bishop jr black jazz thing 4 minutes into track 7

    pretty sure the beginning of 6 is off of dorothy ashby with the white cover

    i dont have the mix on this computer, but most of the stuff i was thinking of has been checked off....i'll listen when i get home. maybe i know more.
