Anybody into RAMP? As you may know, RAMP have reunited - the original line-up - in early 2006. Six months ago, bandleader and drummer John Manuel dug deep in his boxes and fished out an audio tape with two unreleased songs - RAMP's version of Roy Ayers' "The old one two" and "Paint me any color".This is the actual tape:John approached Ubiquity Records who recently released these two tracks on this 12":If you don't have this release, I highly recommend it. Unfortunately, all copies are currently sold out, but Ubiquity will press more.RAMP will also return to Europe in 2008. We did a show with them at Jazz Cafe London in November 06, and it was one of my favorite shows ever. A new Jazz Cafe date is already booked for February 9th 2008. If you are in Europe and you want RAMP to play at your party or club, please email me. RAMP will also record a new album soon ... and many artist are knocking on RAMP's door to record with them. Erykah Badu for example, so it should be interesting.
