none are tests. but most are promos as they came from a DJ collection. where I get all my hip hop.

That really gets to broader question regarding my whole hip hop 12" collection.

Do I need to keep a lot of 12s just for the instrumental tracks?

Thankfully they're not prevalent in Canada. Are they some sort of anti-theft device? "We can't tief that car, it's got a little dude crying on it".

Reminds my of Opio bragging during the Hobo/Hiero battle..."my father's a lawyer".

Take that, you dirty street hood.

Hey Fatback, do you have Typical American 12" by The Goats? I would think that tune would be up your alley....

First time I saw those, I was hungover/stoned/stoked on my way to look at a collection in Prince George's County MD. I pulled over to get some coffee. Mind you, this area of PG County is like 98% black. Well, there was this old white lady sitting in her car and surrounding the car were about 40 of those little weeping doll things, but they were black ones (i.e., black hair and little black arms). Freaked me the fuck out!

I also think I have some kind of wierd doll phobia.

Hard hitting lyrics about the American government and being an American soldier. Perhaps the video helped the song's imagery. Dudes wheeling around coffins, b&w, gritty, slow moving.

Right. It seems useful for a bike messenger party. But those pay shit.

I need to listen again more closely.

Man, your country has some amazing people (some of whom I'll be friends with for the rest of my life), but it's so coded by race (it's disgusting) - I could never live there (again).

DC is a textbook example of this surgical segregation. On one side you have Prince George's County MD adn on the other you have Mongomery County MD/Northern VA. And DC is the same NW vs. NE.

Peep the map on page 5 of this .pdf

    Fucking embarassing.
