DIVSHARE or Z-SHARE? and why?

or is there an even better option out there? seems i'm hearing people ridin' for that divshare and i'd like to know why

    I go with z-share for audio files, they stay up a long-ass time (divshare removes shit all the time!).

    I also use Sendspace for sending random files to people (because they don't show up on google searches! Keep things private).

    I actually use all three for different things, but go with z-share for mp3's.

    the advantage of divshare is the embedded audio. it used to be great because you could create a profile and keep all the files you wanted to share on the page. it was like a soundclick where you could post anything. but they did away with that feature, so fuck em. personally i pay for rapidshare and megaupload. with the blogs out there it is totally worth it to me.
    z-share is good, but they got those ads that you cant block that just slide over the page.

    Phil - it all depends on what you want to do with it.

    Divshare's ability to embed sound is really key to its popularity.

    I'm also surprised to hear that Divshare removes files. According to their very public statements on their home page, files remain on the server FOREVER. If people have had differing experiences from this policy, I'd like to know since I use divshare religiously.

    Zshare.net isn't bad since you can still preview tracks (this to me, is key) though it's been assaulted with a lot of pop-in ads lately that is a minor, but nonetheless, an annoyance.

    personally, I'd go with divshare. You can also password protect files which is cool.

    I've found filefront to be really good. Simple to navigate and use, although the pron isn't as good.

    if you register, divshare files stay up forever. if not, just for one week or so.

    they have a handy dashboard system for managing the files and they let you upload up to 5 files at one click. also you can make any file private with a password.

    that said, they've been slow recently.
