i really like the tunes bacharach and hall did with big-time, big-voiced male vocalists like chuck jackson and lou johnson, though i guess they're not covers, or are they???

lou johnson - if i never get to love you, magic potion
chuck jackson - the breaking point

if anyone has mp3s of these
    please to post!

    Hey,

Here are some off the head:

-"What the World Needs Now is Love"-The Artistics (I chopped this one on a joint I made about 2 years ago).
-"The Look of Love"-The Five Stairsteps ft/ Cubbie.
    -"The Look of Love"-The Delfonics.
-"(They Long to Be) Close to You"-Leon Spencer (Isaac Hayes too).
    -"Any Day Now"-Eddie Kendricks.

    Peace,

    Big Stacks from Kakalak

I don't know where this rates on the scale of sickness

The Renaissance - (They long to be) Close to you

  • Sorry to post this in mix form but I don???t have the separate MP3???s anymore.
But please check Smith and Mighty???s interpretations of BACHARACH
    classics:

These two songs were some of the first to come out with the Bristol sound.
There wasn???t really much like this back then and these two songs have remained firm favourites of mine.

    06:00 (walk on by)
    18:40 (anyone)
