So what the hell is it?? (James Brown Related)

OK, so I have 2 James Brown 45s on King. I always thought it was James Brown & the Famous Flames. One of them says James Brown & The Famous Flames, while the other says James Brown & the Famous Fames. OK, your average typo, but now I just bid on another one online & it says James Brown & the Famous Names?? So did they actually change the name for each single or could someone just not read/type?? They are all the white King labels with Red lettering.
