using your Microwave laptop for internet browsing

I have an apple Ibook and I got it just to run Microwave. I wanted to be safe and not use the Ibook for ANYTHING but Microwave, but I was just wondering if anyone uses their Microwave laptop for internet use and if you've had any problems because of it..

    create a 2nd user account in os x. Leave one of them for microwave and the other one for internet usage.

    does this really help? and wont you run into abunch of library probs with sharing music across accounts?

    fyi im a firm believe in using reformating my microwave every month to keep it squeeky.

    the fact that I have no idea what any of you are talking about worries me. I've been using my 12 inch powerbook for both since I got it and so far *knocks on wood* so good. Should I be worried?

    I use mine for both, but I only use Firefox (seems safer than IE) and I don't DL torrents on my laptop. I also don't use LimeWire or any other shareware.

    anytime your on the internet, you are effectively dumping ish on into your comp. if you are super SUPER paraniod about a failing machine, you should use two diff ones: 1 for work and 1 for play.

    seeing that is a little too to rock dual laptops, i perfer to wipe my comp, regularly and back up only the files that i know i need (aka porn and music). you gotta clean out those 1s and 0s eventualy... i think its best--if you are using your machine as a proffesional tool--to wash out my puter before i take it out for a drive. the added bonus is your comp with be all the time.

    cosign that shit is stable enough to take it. I love having soulseek on during a set so if i get any requests i can download that shit on the fly. Also its nice to read my email and this place on a dead night.

    i have a g4 power book(1.5 mghz & 1.25 ram)
    i rarely browse or do anything else with it except fs2.

    staying safe but i have been at the club online and playing and loading some kids new track off a thumb drive...ha
