What do you do when you iPod will not turn on???

Greetings from Twintown, or at least Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.I just flew back in to the county and I am on a 1 hour layover. I want to listen to Gary Numan. It's very rainy here today and I think that would put me in the right mood. Also I want to listen to my old theme song AKA Iggy Pop "Success" a few times in a row to "set my mind right here" so to speak.But my iPod wont come on. I press buttons and nothing. NUHSING LEBOWSKI. What happened? Did I break this piece of shit last night? I had it charging and it was working when I put it down last night. What else is up?

    Hold down the Menu button and turn the switch up the top on and off a gang of times. It should come back to life...

    Thanks guys, the MENU & PLAY thing worked. Now I'm jamming out to "Airplanes" in Minnesota.

    my ipod died a few days ago. i dropped in about 4 feet onto my carpet and now it works... but for how long....
