i was talking with some co-workers today about how there are no good white American players in the NBA. i'm talking about all-star caiber players. the only one that i can think of is Brad Miller, with the rest of the quality white players being foreign. my co-worker was wondering why this is the case, and then we starting talking about demographics and social issues having something to do with it. seriously though, there are NO dominant white Americans in the NBA which i never really thought about until today.can someone explain this phenomenon?

there are plenty of dope european players: dirk, peja, ilgauskaus.....how come they are so good and we are not?
and the warriors are my shit of the moment. greg anthony said they were the best team in california, which isn't saying a whole lot, but earlier in the year they were one of the worst teams in the league. next year we're playoff bound.

but really, the warriors are really stacked in terms of depth etc... those euros they got except for skeetishvilli are really good. who knew a point guard with a bad back and a tendency to over shoot 3's would make such a difference.

YES. they are definitely good shooters Lithuania had CRAZY 3-pt. specialists in the Olympics too. But I've yet to see anyone with the entire package. I would put Manu up there though.
As far as a dominant white boy or asian boy dunkin' on everybody, and gettin' their own shoe made and everything. The chances of that happening are slim to none. It is a universal fact, black men can jump.
and I heard Triple Double got a mean hoop game as well, when he's not pissing himself in Northern Europe.

2. Bob Sura.
3. Matt Harpring.
4. Brad Miller.
5. Austin Croshere.
6. Kyle Korver (or is he Canadian?).
7. Scott Pollard.
8. Jason Williams.
9. Mike Miller.
10. Wally Sczerbiak.

Hinrich has been better than expected and I've never seen anyone as clutch as Ben Gordon at this point in his career. WOW. Dirk Nowitzki is also dumb talented and I consider myself the Dirk of the DJ game.
Korver is not Canadian he is from Iowa... He has potential to be a strong player but his d is weak.
He needs to develop more offensively if he is going to consistently score more than 15pts a game. he is getting the looks though. They let him shoot almost 10 times a game.
the rest of the ten that you put up... are good players. But as the first posts stated. Far from all stars.
Austin Crochere was removed for being completely lame. I hate that fukker.
(although it was real lame how the Hawks didn't have the money to pay guys like Lou Hudson and Joe Caldwell what they deserved, yet broke the bank to make Maravich rich when they drafted him, before he ever even played a minute in the NBA)

good, not great with the execption of Brad Miller. wasn't wally an all star a few years ago? not so great anymore. my point being is that there is no dominant white player that can take over a game like Lebron, Kobe, Duncan, Garnett.....there are foreign players that are the real deal: Dirk, Manu, Nash but again they are foreign born and bred.
