    In the book "Living with the Dead" their manager Rock Scully talked about the appearance on that show and how they made it their mission to dose everyone on the set. they unfortunately weren,t able to dose Hef as he would only drink from unopened cans or bottles.

    I am more of a fan their part in social history and LSD history than the music. The man behind them who funded them and was their sound technician was Stanley Owlsley III who produced much of the LSD for the psychedelic revolution. The Dead and their acolytes have been pretty much the LSD mafia for the past 40 years.
