    why did tapes come in that format sometimes? ive seen a few exercise tapes like that too, was it just so they could be put in the record section and perhaps sell better?

    I used to have a chipmunks tape with all Mike Jackson covers, the "Rockin Robin" track was

    it had the big 12" record cover looking tape holder thingys... how long were thoughts around for?

    i swindled a painting from this old roommate of mine by an artist named shawn wolfe... he's did some negativland covers, and a ton of weird design work from artists like massive attack, to the ski/snowboard company K2... a long time ago i found a copy of his band's tape (joe kafka) and almost wore it out completely. here's a full mp3 sampler of the one i have , it's cover, and the painting that i took from my friend in exchange for his not paying rent for one month.

    Damn this tape reminds me of some tape I found a while back at a thrift that I am pretty sure was a demo. I recorded over half of it then heard the other half while I was listening to what I recorded. Afterwards I would regret pressing record. That shit was dope and I had just erased half of it. Shit bummed me out.
