Anyone have any biographical info on him? I seem to think he's from New Jersey but some of his music sounds like its straight Southern soul.

    Lee did most of his work in and around GA. I'm not sure where he was born, offhand.

    He recorded on Maple (All Platinum, Sugarhill, etc... Inglewood, NJ if my memory serves me), so maybe that's where you're getting the New Jerus connection from.
